The Citadel Writing and Learning Center

    Our Reading Strategies Program offers one-on-one and small-group reading tutorials to predominately freshman cadets; however, upper-class cadets are welcome. Through this program, we help students use guided reading techniques to increase comprehension of textbook and literature assignments and teach students to read analytically. In addition, we encourage students to not only increase reading comprehension but also to improve reading rate.
